Market madness
Well, as you can see by the limited posts, I have been a wee bit busy lately! I always say I will "start earlier" and "make things throughout the year" but when it comes down to it, life gets in the way and I end up going bonkers creating as many things as possible during the last few weeks leading up to the market. I told you I would be providing a few sneak peaks at what I will have, so here they are:
The monkeys helped me decorate the house for Christmas on the weekend and are anxiously waiting for Christmas to arrive. Letters to Santa are written, advent calendar has gone up with continuous questions about when something sweet will appear in it along with the big question, "how many more days until Christmas?????" I love this time of year in spite of the insanity it brings our lives. How about you?

Reversible Tote Bag
Here's a peek at something I made for my upcoming Christmas market. The Hubby cleaned out his closet a few weeks ago and provided me with a pile of button up dress shirts in various colors and styles, as well as a few polo-type shirts to recycle into something useful. Just so happens that I saw an article in Greencraft Magazine (part of the Sommerset Studio series - I LOVE THESE!!!) where someone made old shirts into reversible totes for carrying everything from the daily shopping to books to kids things. So, here's my take on it:
Let me know what you think!
I'll be posting some more goodies soon!

Christmas Open House & Market
Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year and seems to come around faster and faster as the kids get older. Although it is only the beginning of November, I'm already busy making cards, tags, notebooks and bags, among other things for our Christmas open house & market. Erica, my wonderful neighbor, and I had a table at a Christmas market in Zurich last year and decided that this year we wanted to do something at our house. We will host a little market selling my handmade products, as well as handmade scarves, hats, gloves and other beautiful items from Peru. Drinks and snacks will also be provided to help get you into the Christmas spirit!
Date: December 3rd
Time: 2pm to 9pm (or whenever the last person leaves :-)!)
Location: Sonnenbergstrasse 75, 8800 Thalwil (Apartment Blume)
Join us if you are in or around Zurich!
I'll be posting some of our unique, handmade products as the month progresses so check back here periodically to see what will be waiting for you on December 3rd!

Fall in Zurich
It was a beautiful fall weekend here in Zurich. I love the change of colors and the number of different "canvases" God paints in Nature. Here are just a few...

I've finally done it...
I've finally done it...created my blog! After several years of people asking me, "Do you have a website for your bags and cards?", I have finally created a blog to help show people what I love to do with paper, stamps, fabric and all kinds of other crafty things I see and feel the need to create. I am not sure how often posts will be made but I will do my best to provide you with a variety of fun projects, a few tasty recipes (since I also love to cook) and probably a few pictures of my two little monkeys (will try to limit these as much as possible). All comments are welcome! Now, I'm off to figure out how to add links to this silly thing...
